perfectly captured motherhood

I was nosing around photographer Max Wanger's website because he takes some beautiful wedding shots. Some that incorporate what should seem like an odd prop but somehow looks amazingly natural. (That balloon! The giant lollipop!) I'm in love. But it was the photo below that totally blew me away. It expresses what would take me a million words to say.


It's gorgeous; sleep deprived and out of focus, ethereal and sweet. The color is both bright and soft at the same time. Motherhood is imperfect and chaotic and it's a beautiful thing.
